I am fine, says Goundamani

Denying rumours doing rounds about his health condition, ace comedian Goundamani said on Thursday the he was doing well. “I am very much alive and active,” the actor reacted in his typical style to the rumours, said circles close to him.
The comedian was admitted to a private hospital in Chennai a few days ago after he complained of chest pain and uneasiness. Doctors attending to him said he was recovering fast and there was nothing to worry about his health.
However, some negative buzz was doing rounds on Thursday about Goudamani’s health condition. Following this, media persons and others close to the actor tried to contact his family members and close associates to know the truth.
When Goundamani came to know about this, he reportedly said, “I have no doubt that I am alive and active.” Meanwhile, the actor’s daughter Selvi too has said her father was doing well and requested not to spread any rumours.
